LACEA LAMES 2022, event in which 3 members of our firm participated, with the presentation of Julian Roa Rozo and his paper on: “We must reject the natural rate hypothesis: Evidence from high- and middle-income economies”; and the presentation of Jaime Millán with his paper co-authored with Yanira Oviedo on: “Racial bias in employment services: Data from a randomized experiment in Colombia”.

Econometría is honored that our members participated in such a prestigious event, which is a base of expertise in the academic field of economics and econometrics in the region.

Agricultural Engineer, graduated from the Universidad Surcolombiana with a specialization in social management from Uniminuto and a Master's degree in project management from the EAN. With experience in the design, planning, monitoring, and execution of information collection operations at the national level and in the planning, advice and support of information collection in Central American and Caribbean countries. Her experience includes the management of work teams, the management of administrative and operational aspects for qualitative and quantitative data collections, in urban and rural areas, face-to-face and virtual. She has participated in projects related to the following topics: education, health, early childhood, socioeconomics, rural finance, among others.

Con experiencia en diseño, planeación, seguimiento y ejecución de operativos de recolección de información a nivel nacional y en la planeación, asesoría y acompañamiento de recolecciones de información en países de Centroamérica y el Caribe. Su experiencia incluye la gestión de equipos de trabajo, el manejo de aspectos administrativos y operativos para recolecciones cualitativas y cuantitativas, en zona urbana y rural, presencial y virtual. Ha participado en proyectos relacionados con las siguientes temáticas: educación, salud, primera infancia, socioeconómicos, finanzas rurales, entre otros.

Economist from Universidad Santo Tomás, Professional in Government and Public Affairs and student of the master’s in public policy at Universidad de los Andes. With more than three years of experience in consulting, working on issues related to territorial planning, public utilities, auditing, formulation, implementation and evaluation of public policies, applying quantitative and qualitative methods. His areas of interest are poverty, education, public finance, decentralization, economic development and the formulation, implementation and evaluation of public policies.
